Wind Walker Learning Center's Art and Music Facility

Facility Purpose: A facility for aspiring and accomplished photographers, artist, musicians, theatrical persons, and writers all able to congregate in an area that is of peace and harmonious. Able to get their creative energy flowing again and/or explore with peer review if they choose.  Ever wanted to be actor, professional musician or journalist...but life's obligations dictated differently.  This facility would provide a chance to reconnect to that passion you always dreamed of.

Service offerings:  The facility will have 4 separate meeting/break out areas available for different workshops such as art concepts workshops, how music influences our everyday lives, how to write a stage performance script and more.  There will also be 2 hall ways dedicated to the history of art, music, literature, and the performing arts.

Building Structure:  The over head of the building will look like a double music note.  The building will be approximately 3500 square feet on a single level.  There will bee 4 meeting /break out areas in the front of the building.  On the south side of the music note building will be the hallway that contains music history and the history of the performing arts. It will contain a separate room area full of professional studio equipment and a sound booth available for recording.  Adjacent from the studio room will be a a small performing arts stage that will have enough room to host a live orchestra or band.

On the north side of the building will host a hallway containing the history of the arts and literature.  At the end of the hallway will be a live studio for artist to come and paint or represent their work.  This area will be open to all styles of  art form collages to contemporary work.  Adjacent to the live art studio will be a writers emporium available for those looking for inspiration or advice may congregate on different pieces they may be working on or seeking to accomplish.

Potential Funding revenues:  Conducting monthly workshops for those that are seeking to get into the different industries to meet with those in the industry,  private invitational performance to help raise funds for maintaining the facility, and possible one on one clinics. Space may also be leased for others interests .  Items may also be created and sold in the gift shop for a percentage fee to be given back to the center.

While the expanded vision comes into full circle we are currently using the facilities provided by Wind Walker Guest Ranch to assemble workshops and classes to assist in raising funds for this facility.
