Kids Connection Horse Camp

Why: Because kids deserve the opportunity for creative recreational and educational sustained experiences that honor individuality. Our camp takes only 28 kids to ensure individuality. Plus kids get bored in the summer, so introduce them to new skills that will empower them for life.

WHAT’S UNIQUE: Wind Walker is not just another camp for kids. We focus on enhancing each camper’s mental, physical, spiritual & social development with a 4/1 ratio! Horses & nature have been immensely successful with kids to build skill, confidence, respect & balance (both emotional and physical). We focus on allowing kids to have fun, use their imaginations, be creative & participate in activities that develop self-confidence & a sense of self all in Mother Nature’s backyard.

ACTIVITIES: Oodles of horseback instruction & riding, a horse pack trip to the mountains, a breakfast ride/ eat on the trail, meditation, stress management techniques, brain integration movement techniques that improve all levels of learning & communication skills, brain foods, Native American ceremonies like the Medicine Wheel, the Power Animal Journey, and the Pipe ceremony, watching elk, eagles, hawks, rabbits & other totem animals, learn their spiritual meaning to the Native Americans. Kids will have the opportunity to swim in our mini lake or pool, build & race a Tom Sawyer raft, play in our world class mud puddle, cowboy poetry, story-telling, nature scavenger hunts, dance, relays, nightly campfire, archery, horse shoes, volley ball, local rodeos, parades & 1000’s of acres of land filled with special treasures for children!
