Wind Walker Learning Centers Museum and History Center

Facility Purpose:  To provide access to the general public a museum that contains artifacts to history's many aspects of life. To give a hands on and hands in experience to our past, present and future for life as we know its evolution.

Service offerings: The facility will have a some what traditional motive in the aspects of artifacts and knowledge as a traditional museum.  What will make this one so unique is that you will have the opportunity to enter the museum in the present and ascend to the past and then proceed back to the present.  There will be located just outside the museum a small traditional American west "boomtown" traditional Native American vernacular building, ancient history archeological pit, replica pioneer homes, small gift shop, and futuristic building strucutres.

The structure:  The structure from over head of the museum will be a octagon spiral with wing like structures coming off of the sides.  The inside of building will have rounded hall ways to assist in the descending to the past and transcending back to the future.

The "boomtown" will be small historic wood buildings built to resemble a old west town with small replica building that the traditional pioneers used to settle this area.  There will be a miners area that visitors will be able to mine for native minerals and fools gold.

The Native American structures will be a wikiup, teepees,  grass huts and rock dwellings.

Potential Funding Revenue:  With the help of visitors there will be a donation area that patrons will be able to donate to the facility, conducting live wild west reenactments, hosting public school children, and gift shop sales.

In helping raise funds for this unique museum we are currently conducting different field trip programs available on a pre reservation basis.  For  more information on the different programs see our programs and retreats portion of this web site.
